Graz section of the Koralm Railway

The Koralm Railway is an infrastructure project of the Austrian National Railways (ÖBB). After being completed in 2014, it will establish a railway connection between the central areas of Graz and Klagenfurt. 3:0 Landschaftsarchitektur designed the 7km section of the track between the Graz main station and the new Feldkirchen railway station near Graz. The purpose of the design was to accentuate the roadside and movement space by means of variously themed floral and plant arrangements. The ÖBB infrastructure project was executed in cooperation with the city of Graz, the state of Styria and the architecture firm Zechner and Zechner. It was completed and submitted to the owners in December 2009.
