Monochrome on Black

Using the plans of the house as a starting point, this is a two-pronged garden with a great view of the city. The elements that characterise the design are the islands of plants made from Niro steel, that seem to burst forth from the basalt gravel beds, unfolding into a range of different coloured blooms throughout the year. A terrace in natural black stone frames the gravel areas. In front of the opaline glass railings, are a range of straight-edge sombre pots with different herbs and plants, which along with the curved shape of the islands, create an interesting play of geometric shapes.
